The Cougar Track and Field Team is off to a fast start in our first season. In our first three meets in Fayetteville, Springdale, and Gravette, we have seen our times and distances get better every week. Our Jr High kids have proven to be some of the best in NWA and will have a very strong group participating for the Conference Championship in Harrison in April.
Our Varsity Team currently consists of 4 boys, but they are tough competitors. Both Storm Skyrme, in the 1600m, and Tysen Barbour, in the 400m, met State Track Meet Qualifying standards in the second meet of the season in Springdale. We are looking forward to seeing those times drop and having our other two boys reach the state meet as well.
